Advanced Management (MSc)
A degree programme also for non-economists
This master’s program is also suitable for students who do not hold a bachelor’s degree in economics or a related field: This means you can enroll in the Advanced Management master’s program even without prior knowledge of business administration. The program is designed for graduates from various disciplines who wish to gain specific qualifications for management and leadership roles. Solid management knowledge is imparted through practical projects.
About the programme
Content of the programme
Whether your bachelor’s degree is in business, social sciences, engineering, natural sciences, or the humanities, the Master in Advanced Management will help you develop key competencies in management, strategy, and leadership. By working in interdisciplinary teams, you’ll learn to analyze business challenges and implement practical solutions.
The Master in Advanced Management provides you with the ideal preparation for leadership roles in companies, organizations, and projects—with a practical, interdisciplinary, and forward-looking approach.

Special features
Starting in the third semester, you’ll specialize in a specific area of focus as you continue your studies. This allows you to develop a personalized skill set that’s perfectly aligned with your career goals. The areas of focus cover key future-oriented topics in management and address questions such as:
- International Brand and Sales Management
How is a strong brand built, and how does it remain successful? What are sales and growth strategies? How do you find out what customers want? Why and how do you collect and use market and customer data? - Strategy, Sustainability, and Business Transformation
What environmental and social issues exist worldwide? How can change within a company be implemented successfully and sustainably? How do you measure whether a company is acting sustainably? What are environmentally friendly business models, and what responsibilities do companies have toward the environment and society?
Career perspectives
Upon graduation, the Master of Advanced Management program equips you to take on management and leadership roles, assume entrepreneurial responsibilities, or pursue independent academic research, such as a doctoral degree.
Thanks to the program’s versatile structure, you are not limited to traditional business administration roles. Graduates work, for example, in marketing and sales, strategy, management consulting, project management, sustainability, innovation, or transformation. Jobs in international companies, startups, nonprofit organizations, or the public sector are also possible.
