International Founders Talk Vol. 2: international founding spirit at lunch break

27.05.2021, Transfer :

The online talk and podcast, in which successful founders and other players in the start-up scene exchange ideas in a relaxed atmosphere, is going international. The event will take place again on June 24, 2021 via Zoom. Starting at 1 p.m., registered startup enthusiasts and those generally interested can tune in and get an hour of insights into Israel's startup ecosystem.

The idea

In each semester, speakers from one country will speak in two events about different startup topics, such as the startup ecosystem or startup culture.

Country and startup

More than 6,500 startups meet 8.5 million inhabitants, which means Israel has the most startups per capita. It is also the country with the most Nasdaq-listed tech companies after the US. Therefore, the international Founders Talk is all about the "Startup Nation" Israel.

Neu-Ulm University is very pleased to welcome CEO and Co-Founder Eilon Elhadad of Argon Security as well as Tal Berman of Startup Grind Rishon Lezion, as discussion partners.

Procedure

After a short intro, you will get direct insights into the startup ecosystem of Israel and Eilon Elhadad will introduce himself and Argon Security afterwards. Afterwards you can ask questions and get in touch directly with Tal Bermann and Eilon Ellhadad to exchange ideas.

The format will be repeated in April, June, October and December with different guests.

There is also the possibility to listen to the international Founders Talk as a podcast in the aftermath on Spotify & Co.

Guest on April 22, 2021: Startup Safe Mode and Startup Grind.

SafeMode aims to save lives on the road by using artificial intelligence. Every year, nearly 1.3 million people die and 50 million are injured in traffic accidents. SafeMode is passionate about changing those numbers by making the traffic environment safer.

Startup Grind Local facilitates conversations with entrepreneurs from their global network. Startup Grind is a global startup community that educates, inspires and connects entrepreneurs. Chapter Director Tal Bermann is also a member of the Institute for Entrepreneurship at HNU.
