HNU presents 175th welcome package

21.12.2021, University News :

At the end of 2021, Neu-Ulm University presented the 175th welcome package to parents of newborn "HNU children". HNU students and employees alike receive the packages for their offspring.

By handing out the welcome packages, the university makes it clear that it sees itself as a place where studies or work and private/family life can be reconciled. At HNU, "family" means everyone who takes responsibility for others in social relationships. The 175th welcome package went to Prof. Dr. Johannes Schobel.

"It is a great concern of ours to do everything within our means for members of the university so that they can reconcile their private and university interests here," says Christoph Giebeler, the head of the Counselling and Information Centre for Parents, Personal and Social Affairs, or BIZEPS for short.

Giebeler is particularly pleased that the Friends of Neu-Ulm University have taken over the financial and organisational implementation of the Welcome Pact since 2021. Further proof that the HNU family does not end at the campus boundaries.
