Part-time certificate courses
The certificate courses are aimed at people who are interested in acquiring practical knowledge in a specific subject area and in compact form. After completing one of these courses, both specialists and managers will be able to improve their levels of efficiency and professionality in certain areas and to further distinguish themselves in their professional life.
Upon successful completion of one of our certificate courses, you will receive a Certificate of Advanced Studies (CAS) with ECTS points. The contents also correspond to modules of the part-time MBA programmes, among other things. The acquired ECTS points can be fully credited to one of the part-time programmes, such as the MBA.
Participants without a school leaving certificate (A levels) acquire the university entrance qualification upon successful completion of one of the certificate courses, thus qualifying them for one of the bachelor's programmes at HNU.

Certificate courses in General Management
General Management
This certificate course teaches students about decision-making processes within companies from a business management perspective. Students also come to understand that changing circumstances must be taken into account with such business decisions, i.e. economic, legal and/or fiscal parameters and developments must be included as influencing factors in the decision-making process.
Controlling and Financial Management I
This certificate course teaches students the importance and use of controlling and financial management tools to make business decisions.

This certificate course builds on the certificate course "Controlling and Financial Management I" and provides students with further knowledge, based on the expertise already acquired, about the interrelationships within the specialised fields of balance sheet management, financial management and controlling.

The Business Mediation certificate course equips participants with the skills necessary to act as a mediator both within the company and as an external service provider. The course is considered a valuable building block for in-house conflict resolution.
