Since 2013, Dr. Tobias Engelhardt has been a member of the Board of Trustees of Neu-Ulm University and since 2018 has been a lecturer in several continuing education courses on the subject of entrepreneurship. Dr. Engelhardt has been a founder and investor himself for over 20 years.

An asset for the field of start-ups at HNU
After training as a retail salesman, Dr. Tobias Engelhardt began studying business administration at the University of Mannheim, graduating in 1986. His path then led him to the University of St. Gallen, where he received his doctorate summa cum laude in 1989 on the subject of "Digital Marketing". After various activities and functions - first in a management consultancy, then in investment management - Dr. Engelhardt founded Engelhardt, Kaupp Kiefer &Co; in short ekkco, together with Karl-Friedrich Kaupp and Georg Kiefer in 2001. This early-growth investor accompanies technology-oriented companies on their growth path. Since 2018, he has been passing on his knowledge to HNU students in teaching assignments.
