Research funding

Together innovative and always at the cutting edge - established transfer formats as well as a broad portfolio of cooperation opportunities for partners from science, business and society bring research and teaching to life. Innovative teaching, research, event and publication formats guarantee topicality and proximity to practice.

As a neutral service point, the Department of External Funding, Transfer and Events at the HNU supports the university's academic staff in raising funds for research funding, projects for the further development of teaching and studies and for structural measures. The department advises on all questions relating to the acquisition of third-party funding, carries out targeted research into suitable funding lines and provides individual advice on funding opportunities. Applications for public funding programmes (EU, State and Federals) are actively supported, as are the administrative steps involved in contract research and services. Furthermore, the department helps in maintaining contacts and networks, as well as in the targeted search for and placement of external practice partners.

Forms of cooperation

Innovative through cooperation - We offer you diverse forms of cooperation in the field of research and will be happy to advise you on how to position your concerns correctly.

Funding opportunities

There is a large number of public funding programmes (EU/State/Federal States) for the partial financing of research and development projects. We help you to choose the right one from the multitude of funding programmes. Depending on the funding programme, applications for joint projects can be made either by you (with our support) or by the HNU.
