Healthy University:
Survey from students to students

How often do you have headaches, problems falling asleep or money problems?
How short is your fuse?
How do you rate your health situation?
How heavy is your workload during the online semester?

We - the Student's Health Management Team at Neu-Ulm University of Applied Sciences - want to investigate these and other questions in order to make your studies healthier. We depend on your support for this project. Therefore, we ask you to take about 25 minutes to answer the online questionnaire completely.

What happens after the survey?

The idea is to derive measures and strategies from the survey results that can support the health situation of our students.

The Student Health Management team, which consists of 16 students, 8 professors, 2 research assistants and 4 employees from the academic support sector, will discuss the results of the survey at the end of the summer and jointly consider which offers and ideas are best suited to respond to the findings.

A wide variety of sports activities (team sports, fitness programmes, mental health...) are conceivable, but also measures that target the conditions of our degree programmes - and thus make studying at the HNU healthier overall!

Goals of the study

The purpose of this study is to collect meaningful and up-to-date data on the health of our students and on the study situation at the HNU, so that the university can get an overview of the areas where action is needed. At the same time, the study is part of a periodic health report that is to be repeated every two to three years.

Who is behind it all?

The Student's Health Management Team consists of students, lecturers, academic staff and employees from the academic support sector. With the active support of the university management, it is carrying out this first inventory. The project is supported by the Techniker Krankenkasse.

Why should you join?

If you've ever been upset about your studies, if they rob you of your sleep now and then, or if you're happy with everything and want them to stay that way, now's the time not to keep it to yourself!

What happens to the data?

Your data will be collected on a server certified by the Federal Office for Information Security and deleted after the survey has been completed. An anonymised, summarised data record is stored and further processed, which excludes conclusions about individual persons.

It's your study and your chance to change something!
