"The topic of business analytics is of great relevance to companies, especially in today's world, which is why we have developed an integrative and practice-oriented concept together with lecturers from the fields of science and practice", says Prof. Dr. Daniel Schallmo.
The programme, which is tailored to the company's needs and consists of twelve in-house attendance events, addresses the core questions in six modules which build on one another: "How can unused potential in production planning be optimally utilised with the aid of data and technologies?" and "How can employees make targeted use of the advantages of business analysis and develop effective concepts?
To this end, the basics of digital transformation and lean management are taught, and disruptive technologies, data science and business analyst skills are developed together with the experienced team of trainers.
Didactically, the participants work in teams on concrete projects and create concepts which they then present, discuss and reflect on. In addition to specialist knowledge, they also acquire methodological, social and personal skills.
"The educational program is a wonderful example of proactive competence development of employees in a rapidly changing environment. Companies are thus laying an important building block for successfully meeting the challenges of digital transformation," says Prof. Dr. Sylvia Schafmeister, Strategic Head of Centre for Postgraduate and Professional Studies at Neu-Ulm University of Applied Sciences.
