Experimental improvement of software engineering learning (EVELIN)

In software projects, important key qualifications such as team spirit and critical faculties are indispensable.
At Neu-Ulm University of Applied Sciences, the EVELIN project should therefore give students even more technical and social skills, especially in software engineering topics, in order to be successful in professional practice.
In the joint project, individual competence profiles for study programmes at HNU - as a business school, especially for software engineering topics in study programmes with a focus on business administration - are being developed for this purpose. In addition, the project will investigate how certain teaching and learning methods are suitable for acquiring these competences.
The proven teaching and learning methods are constantly being improved and will also be applied in the future. In the second project phase, the focus will be placed even more strongly on gender aspects.
The scientifically evaluated results will be published at international conferences.
