At the beginning, the first-year students were given an overview of the group of companies and the Nesselwang site. This was followed by a detailed tour of the factory, during which, among other things, the new building was presented – an energy-self-sufficient building equipped with a heat pump and solar system, as well as a state-of-the-art staff restaurant. The students were able to experience the technology up close: from machines and circuit boards to precision processes.
Another item on the agenda was a lecture on temperature measurement technology, which deepened the knowledge acquired during the factory tour. After lunch together, which provided an opportunity for discussion, the group returned to Neu-Ulm.
