Student life is now also returning to the Wiley campus: Most lectures for the summer semester 2022 started again in presence. HNU's strengths lie in partnership and lively exchange, says HNU President Prof. Dr. Uta M. Feser: "After the past Corona semesters, it is important for our students and faculty to be present at the university again and to be able to benefit from the personal encounter. At the same time, we continue to develop innovations in digital teaching in close consultation with students and integrate them into face-to-face courses."
Merlin Kalokerinos, a member of HNU's student council, senate and university council, also sees the upcoming semester as an important opportunity: "A lot has already been done in this area thanks to the rapid digitization in the Corona semesters. The goal must now be to continue the progress of digitization and transfer it to common or blended learning approaches. This can only succeed if the university and students enter into a joint exchange and jointly shape the teaching of tomorrow. An important step is the establishment of the Steering Committee for Innovative Teaching, in which representatives of the StuVer and important representatives from all areas of HNU take up topics that connect students and HNU."
New Advanced Sales Management and Intelligence degree program
Students in the Advanced Sales Management and Intelligence (M.Sc.) master's program will begin their studies for the first time in the summer semester of 2022. They will learn how sales can better penetrate markets through digitalization and artificial intelligence and will be prepared to strategically develop a sales organization as a manager. They will also be trained to operate confidently in an increasingly English-speaking corporate landscape and in international markets. The program is the only German- and English-language degree program in Germany that trains students to become modern, internationally oriented sales strategy managers who can analyze markets, customers and sales models on a scientific basis and develop creative sales concepts for the digital age. Due to the important strategic significance of sales in many industries, a high potential for well-trained and compliance-trained sales experts can be assumed.
