14 new international exchange students from Chile, China, Finland, Hungary, Jordan, Thailand, Turkey and Vietnam took part in the orientation weeks. The colourful programme consisted of information sessions (Welcome Session, Formalities & Housing Session, Studying@HNU and Timetable, Library Tour, Opening Bank Account), discovery tours (HNU Tour, Ulm City Tour, Trip to Blautopf, Trip to Stuttgart), an intercultural training and an intensive German language course. The student buddies provided important support and guidance.
A large number of international degree-seeking students study at the HNU as well. In the summer semester, 18 students from Bolivia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Cameroon, Croatia, Georgia, India, Italy, Kazakhstan, Mexico, Nigeria, Northern Macedonia, Tunisia, Venezuela and Vietnam began their studies at the HNU, eleven of them in Bachelor's programmes and seven in Master's programmes. A total of 163 international degree-seeking students who obtained their university entrance qualification abroad are currently enrolled at the HNU.
