Concrete starting points for cooperation
The meeting, which lasted several hours and included a business lunch in the HNU canteen and a joint photo session, offered both universities the opportunity to present their institutions and study programmes and to identify concrete potential for cooperation. Promising avenues were identified, particularly in the areas of student exchange and internships abroad.
Walailak University is located south of the Thai capital Bangkok and close to the coast. It boasts a sprawling campus with a landscaped panoramic path reminiscent of a skywalk. The university also operates a teaching hospital with around 540 beds and approximately 300,000 patients per year.
Positive prospects for students, lecturers and researchers
