The newly founded network closes a blank spot on the dual-career map: Until now, there was no superordinate network for the promotion of dual-career partnerships in the Neu-Ulm, Ulm, Biberach and Kempten region. With the "Dual Career Network Swabia" (DCNS), a regional service is now available for the first time for partners or families of professors, scientists and specialists and managers in Swabia.
Goal of the DCNS: Cooperation between science and industry in the competition for specialists and executives
Through this cooperation, services related to the professional placement of accompanying partners in the region can be organized more efficiently in the future. "With the Dual Career Network Swabia, the founding universities and their partners contribute to the recruitment and retention of excellent employees. In this way, we are strengthening Swabia as a location for science and business in global competition," explains HNU President Prof. Dr. Uta M. Feser. The DCNS expressly invites other institutions from science, business and administration, such as universities and companies in the region, to join as network partners.
