Efficient operating and control models for the holistic optimisation of the value contribution of the IT function in the company (EBSgo-IT)

The aim of the project is to gain insights into the design options for the internal IT organisation in companies. In view of ever shorter life cycles of products, services and business models coupled with the increasing importance of information technology (IT), the role of the IT organisation in the company is becoming more and more important. In particular, the ability of IT to adapt as dynamically and efficiently as possible to changing conditions distinguishes many successful from less successful companies.
DevOps (abbreviation from Development and Operations) is a development in cooperation in the IT function in the age of digital transformation, in order to be able to react as quickly as possible to new customer requirements with the help of cross-functional IT teams. This new concept is attracting great interest both in practice and in science.
