SAVE Studienerfolg ausländischer Vollzeitstudierender erhöhen

The number of international degree-seeking students has been steadily increasing for years, especially in English-language master's programmes. International degree-seeking students are often confronted with many challenges due to a culturally, linguistically and academically foreign environment. Accordingly, their dropout rates are also higher than those of German students. Based on a status and needs analysis, the services offered to international degree-seeking students at the HNU will be adapted and expanded to meet their specific needs. The project measures include the expansion of English-language information and communication offerings, as well as the intercultural opening of university services. In addition, long-term structures should be created for the academic and social integration of international degree-seeking students.
