Straightforward or via detours: What was your school career like and what interests did you have as a younger person?
I did a second-chance university entrance qualification and then completed a commercial apprenticeship. During my apprenticeship, I was involved in an SAP project by chance and from then on I realised that I wanted to continue my education in IT. Studying business informatics gave me the opportunity to utilise my previous knowledge of business administration and delve deeper into IT.

What experiences during your studies have had a particular impact on you?
My two stays abroad have certainly had a particular impact on me. I spent a semester at Kettering University in Flint, Michigan, USA, and my second internship semester and my final thesis at Airbus in Toulouse. I still have very fond memories of both stations. I was able to gain intercultural experience in particular. At Airbus, I also had the opportunity to get to know the IT organisation of a major international and multinational corporation.

What was your first job like and how did you hear about it?
After graduating, I joined SAP Consulting as a developer. I found the job through web research at the time.

Please describe your day-to-day work. Which projects do you work on and which tasks do you particularly enjoy?
The exciting thing about my day-to-day work is that no two days are the same. There are, of course, routine tasks, e.g. everything to do with HR issues for my team and also planning meetings. In terms of content, however, the topics vary greatly - from developing a messaging for our product together with our marketing team to working out new features to be implemented in our product. As a product manager, I also have contact with many other teams: Sales, Marketing, Engineering, Consultancy, Support and, of course, our customers and partners.

How would you complete the beginning of the following sentence?
HNU... "is a great university where I enjoyed studying."
