30,000 euros in KickStart funding: winning the Founders Pitch on 5 October is worthwhile
Founders have to be able to sell themselves. That's why Tuesday, 5 October, kicks off with a pitch training workshop where participants learn how to wow their audience. The 14th InnoSÜD Founders' Lunch with Andreas Torka, Vice President Research, Development and Innovation from Wieland, will take place over lunch. Together, the participants will talk about sustainability and new technologies. From 6 p.m., everything will revolve around a Kick Start grant of 30,000 euros. At the Founders Pitch, the HNU start-ups will compete for the best rating from the jury. Seats on site are limited, an additional zoom stream will be set up.
The strategic application of social media is the focus of the workshop on 6 October from 9 am. At lunchtime, the Institute for Entrepreneurship at HNU invites you to lunch. Students will present their results of a current Design Thinking Challenge and members of the Institute will introduce themselves. The International Founders Talk, which is held online, will also begin at 1 pm. This time it is about start-up ecosystems in Chile. The two connected speakers are the head of the Free State of Bavaria's representative office for South America Pamela Valdivia and representatives of the Chilean start-up Strong by Form. The start-up has developed a sustainable lightweight construction technology for wood with which it wants to revolutionise the market.
Exciting career: the founder of Jack Wolfskin in conversation
On Thursday, 7 October, Ulrich Dausien, the founder of Jack Wolfskin, will give a keynote speech about his remarkable founding career, his experiences as a manager and report on the projects he is currently working on. For the finale of Founders Week, the StartupSÜD event The Triangle will take place from 6 pm. This time the theme is outdoor. The participating start-ups are Unbound, Plasticfree Peaks and MyCabin.
