Register now for the IT Congress Neu-Ulm | Ulm 2021

29.10.2021, Press Release :

On Thursday, 11 November 2021, the IT Congress Neu-Ulm | Ulm 2021 will take place - online for the second time in a row. The digital event will focus on IT trends of the present and future. Registration is now possible at www.it-kongress.com, participation is free of charge.

2021, the IT Congress Neu-Ulm | Ulm will once again take place virtually on 11 November from 9 a.m. to 5:15 p.m.: with numerous (live) lectures and discussions as well as opportunities to exchange ideas on the topics among each other. With the aim of presenting applicable IT knowledge and practicable solutions, the conference is aimed at representatives of companies from all sectors, especially small and medium-sized enterprises, as well as university staff and students.

Last year, the organisers Neu-Ulm University of Applied Sciences (HNU), Ulm University of Applied Sciences (THU) and the Ulm/Neu-Ulm Urban Development Association, in cooperation with regional companies, had already focused on making the virtual offer as similar as possible to the analogue congress. The concept proved successful in 2020. So in 2021 most of the programme items will also run as a live stream, some of them live from the HNU. The congress will be held via the hopin.com event platform.

Data society, innovative learning formats and life-saving artificial intelligence

After the welcome by Gunter Czisch, Lord Mayor of the City of Ulm and Chairman of the Ulm/Neu-Ulm Urban Development Association, Dr. Hartwig Rüll will give the keynote address "Management in Extreme Uncertainty". Rüll studied physics at the University of Munich and earned his doctorate at the University of Hamburg. He worked in the research laboratories of Siemens AG on topics including optical computers and artificial intelligence. Many other highly qualified speakers fill the programme with their contributions on varied topics such as "The impact of future workplaces on corporate culture", "The data society - how data and AI influence our lives", "Stickers, filters and swipe up links: Stories as an innovative learning format" or "AI-supported accident prevention saves human lives". Between the individual presentations, virtual coffee breaks or matchmaking events invite participants to exchange ideas.
