AI Innovation Circle: Companies discuss opportunities and limitations of agentic AI

15.12.2025, Transfer:

The latest AI Innovation Circle at Neu-Ulm University of Applied Sciences (HNU) focused on the practical application of agentic AI in companies. The exchange platform regularly brings together companies, researchers and experts to develop application-oriented perspectives on artificial intelligence and learn from each other. AI agents will fundamentally change the world of work in the near future – and are already being used productively in many areas today.

Practical insights into current applications

The event offered a diverse mix of practical reports, tool demonstrations and empirical values. Representatives from various companies provided insights into specific application scenarios for agentic systems. The topics ranged from intelligent automation and agentic architectures to security-related and ethical issues. Marco Sauter and Claus Allgaier from ARTISO presented the workflow tool n8n, while Dr Andreas Angerer and Simon Müller from XITASO explained the practical implementation of agentic AI. Philip Wagner from XEBIA highlighted the added value of intelligent automation in sales processes, and Ilya Glamazdin from pro-telligence discussed the productive and secure use of agentic AI. Finally, Andreas Giesa from XEBIA covered everything from ChatGPT to Androids. The event was moderated by Prof. Dr Klaus Lang.

"Agents are no longer a topic for the future – they are already being used productively today, saving time, improving quality and transforming entire processes. At the same time, the limitations and risks were also discussed openly and honestly," summarises Prof. Dr. Klaus Lang. The event offered participants valuable practical insights and was accompanied by a lively discussion.
