Professor Dr. Mario A. Pfannstiel

Prof. Dr. Mario A. Pfannstiel is a professor and researcher at Neu-Ulm University of Applied Sciences, where he serves as director of the Master’s program in Digital Healthcare Management. His academic focus lies in Business Administration in Healthcare, with particular emphasis on innovative services and solutions. He holds an M.Sc. in Patient Management from Dresden International University and an M.A. in Healthcare and Social Facilities Management from the Technical University of Kaiserslautern and the University of Witten/Herdecke. He earned his doctoral degree at the Faculty of Social and Economic Sciences of the University of Potsdam, at the Chair of Management, Professional Services, and Sports Economics. Earlier in his career, he worked as a research associate at the Chair of Strategic Management and Organization at the University of Bayreuth and as executive assistant to the Medical Director at the Heart Center Leipzig. His research has produced numerous academic publications, journal articles, and books on management in the healthcare industry.
