The training program was designed by the Technology Transfer Center (TTZ) at HNU and is based on a modern blended learning approach that combines online elements with face-to-face workshops. Participants come from various areas of the BFV—including coach training, club management, youth leadership, and sponsorship—and bring their diverse experiences to the training sessions.
“This format conveys much more than knowledge – it strengthens attitude, communication, and empathy. If you want to inspire others, you need precisely these skills – in soccer, in volunteer work, and in life,” explains Prof. Dr. Jürgen Grinninger, head of the TTZ Leipheim and project manager on behalf of HNU.
The workshops are part of the newly introduced BFV continuing education certificate, which will be rolled out across the association by the end of 2026. More than 50 speakers have already participated in the pilot phase and given consistently positive feedback.
With this project, HNU is underlining its role as a partner for practical continuing education and knowledge transfer – even beyond the boundaries of the traditional university world.
