Consileon becomes a partner of HNU in the field of healthcare management

21.05.2026, Study:

Neu-Ulm University of Applied Sciences (HNU) is further expanding its collaboration with Consileon Business Consultancy GmbH. The partnership focuses on cooperation within the Faculty of Healthcare Management, particularly in the context of internship semesters and the “programme with in-depth practical training” in the Digital Health and Business Studies in Healthcare Management degree programmes.

The goal of the partnership is to provide students with practical insights into the consulting and healthcare industries at an early stage, while further strengthening the ties between the university and the business community.

Practical Insights into the Healthcare Industry

Through this partnership, students gain direct access to real-world challenges from the business world. The focus is particularly on current topics such as digitalization and transformation in the healthcare sector. The collaboration enables students to apply theoretical knowledge in a targeted manner and build industry-specific skills early on.

Added value for students and companies

Students benefit from concrete practical experience, close mentoring, and the opportunity to establish professional contacts early on. At the same time, it opens up career opportunities at Consileon. The partnership also offers advantages for the company: collaboration with the university strengthens knowledge transfer and provides access to qualified young talent.

The partnership was initiated jointly by Prof. Dr. Sylvia Schafmeister, Dean of the Faculty of Healthcare Management, and Prof. Dr. Patrick Da-Cruz, Industry Liaison for the Business Studies in Healthcare Management programme.
