The collaboration focuses on how approaches from positive psychology and a resource-oriented perspective can help support learning processes in vocational training, place greater emphasis on individual potential, and further develop training processes in a forward-looking manner.
With this initiative, Prof. Reiner and Netzwerk Q are building on two online presentations they have already conducted, which reached approximately 200 trainers in Germany. Building on this, they are currently collaborating to develop a digital learning package designed to present the content in a structured manner and make it accessible to a wider range of training companies.
The goal of this collaboration is to more effectively transfer scientific findings from Prof. Reiner’s research on resource orientation as a learning-promoting human resources practice in development processes—in the context of digital transformation—into training practice, and, conversely, to generate ideas for further research in the field of vocational education and training.
The partnership with Netzwerk Q provides an ideal framework for this, as this nationwide project has been helping instructors since 2019 to adapt vocational training to the demands of the digital transformation and to equip vocational training staff to meet the challenges of digitization.
