Virtual transfer formats in sales management: Beat the Bot!

The goal of the five-year research project is the creation of sales-relevant VR/AR applications.
In a first step, expert interviews will identify possible sales applications. The needs of the identified application areas will be reviewed and evaluated by a regional survey. The creation and further development of appropriate transfer formats will then take place within our sales laboratory.
The research project creates sales-relevant applications/transfer formats that 1. generate an improvement in the imagination, 2. overcome geographical distances, 3. design more efficient processes and 4. can replace the presentation of physical products in sales. An initial application methodology will be the evaluation of a virtual negotiation partner, which will be "fed" with the knowledge on negotiation management available at the university and used in regionally based companies to communicate specific topics in sales. Since avatars are very often used and experienced as chat bots, this area will be made playful with the help of gamification and placed under the motto "Beat the Bot". This transfer format will then be evaluated in its application by the research team.
