Practical concepts and strategies for corporate culture and intercultural management: this is what students on the Bachelor's degree courses in Business Studies and Business Psychology at Neu-Ulm University of Applied Sciences (HNU) will be working on in the summer semester of 2025 under the direction of Prof. Dr. Julia Künkele. The kick-off of the cooperation with Memmingen Airport GmbH took place on April 4 at Memmingen Airport.

Insights behind the scenes at Germany's tenth largest airport

At the beginning of the excursion, Marcel Schütz, Head of Aviation at Memmingen Airport GmbH, showed the students around the airport premises. They were given an insight into the processes and structures of the airport. The project partners then presented the tasks that the students will be working on over the course of the summer semester. The aim is to develop applicable concepts and strategies for the airport's Corporate Culture and Intercultural Management divisions. Prof. Dr. Julia Künkele is looking forward to the cooperation: “The practical project enables our students to apply their knowledge in the exciting corporate environment of Memmingen Airport, strengthen their skills in intercultural management and at the same time create added value for the practice partner.”
