Space Session Vol. 16 – The bar “Stiege”: Creative spirit between drinks and design

18.11.2025, Transfer:

On 30 October 2025, the Founders Space at Neu-Ulm University of Applied Sciences (HNU) was transformed into a place bursting with creative energy: around 35 participants immersed themselves in the history of Stiege Ulm – a bar that has evolved from a candidate for closure into a lively place for encounters and experiments.

The three operators of the “Stiege”, Thomas Scheer, Julius Ulmer and Till Sendelbach, who work full-time at the agencies tante emma kreation and Rrooarr, spoke about their mission: not only to preserve the “Stiege”, but to revive it as a platform for culture and creative projects.

After a short break, during which a start-up from Founders Space presented its innovative idea, the event continued in an interactive format: in a workshop, participants developed new cultural projects and event ideas for Stiege. The results showed great potential – from unusual formats to new approaches to cultural encounters.

At the end, all guests received a small gift from the Stiege team and left with inspired faces. Space Session Vol.16 proved once again how important spaces are for exchange and creativity – and how strong the connection between design, entrepreneurship and culture can be.
