Travelling exhibition on global justice and fair trade at the HNU

17.04.2025, University News:

"HOW FAIR ARE WE?" - This is the title and central question of the travelling exhibition, which is on display in the foyer of Neu-Ulm University of Applied Sciences (HNU) until the end of April. The exhibition is a joint initiative of the HNU student initiative MOVE, the Fairtrade steering group of the city of Neu-Ulm and the Fairtrade Town community of Langenau.

This exhibition is thought-provoking: How fairly do we really live and consume? Eight life-size figures address children's rights, poverty, child labour, the 2030 Agenda and fair trade - and ask uncomfortable but necessary questions. The aim is to raise awareness of global social injustice and the effects of our consumer behaviour.

On the initiative of the Fairtrade Steering Group Neu-Ulm, the travelling exhibition can be visited in the foyer of Building A for a total of two weeks. The exhibition was designed and built by the Langenau project group from the "Women Engage for a Common Future" network. The Langenau project group was recognised as a prize-winner as part of the three-year European project "Make Europe Sustainable For All". Since then, the exhibition has been touring various cities.
