Yes, the Master of Arts influenced my career path, as it allowed me to deepen my professional and methodological skills.

How has your academic background specifically affected your chances of getting shortlisted and hired in your particular field?
My academic background had a positive effect. During my Bachelor's and Master's studies, I was already working as a working student at OnkoZert GmbH in the field of certification. This allowed me to directly connect theoretical knowledge with practical experience. As a result, I was able to contribute my skills in a targeted way within the company, which ultimately led to my current position.

Which specific skills and knowledge that you have acquired as part of the Master's programme are particularly relevant for your current professional position?
During my Master's studies, I especially acquired analytical and methodological skills as well as in-depth subject knowledge. These are particularly relevant to my current position, as they enable a well-founded assessment of complex issues and support systematic, quality-oriented work.

What ultimately made you decide in favour of the Master of Arts and how has this decision affected your professional career?
My decision to pursue the Master of Arts was driven by my goal of specifically deepening my professional and methodological skills and qualifying myself for more demanding tasks. This decision has had a positive impact on my career development, as it opened up new areas of responsibility and expanded my professional development opportunities.

What personal qualities helped you to successfully complete the Master's programme in Digital Healthcare Management?
Self-organisation, analytical thinking, and teamwork were particularly important for successful completion. In addition, my personal motivation, my interest in digital developments, and my willingness to continually familiarise myself with new topics supported me throughout the programme.

…a practice-oriented degree programme that provides sound knowledge at the interface between healthcare and digitalisation.

What advice would you give to current students considering a similar Master's programme?
I recommend building professional contacts early on during your studies and actively exploring possible career paths. Practical experience makes it much easier to enter the profession later on. Being open to new and interdisciplinary topics is especially beneficial in the field of Digital Healthcare.
