Yes, absolutely. The Master of Arts in Digital Healthcare Management clearly influenced my career path, as it allowed me to expand my understanding of digital processes in healthcare, project management, and the interface between medicine, administration and digitalisation. In a university hospital environment in particular, this knowledge is very helpful, as digital structures and data-based processes are becoming increasingly important.

How has your academic background specifically affected your chances of being shortlisted and hired in your particular field?
My academic background had a positive effect on my chances of being shortlisted and hired, because it showed that I not only bring practical experience in the healthcare sector, but can also work in a scientific and conceptual way.

Particularly relevant to my current position are knowledge of digitalisation in healthcare, process management, project management and academic work. I also consider the use of digital tools, data structures and organisational processes in healthcare very important. In addition, the communication and analytical skills I acquired during my studies help me to better understand and structure complex processes and apply them in my day-to-day work.

I chose the Master of Arts because I wanted to specifically expand my knowledge of healthcare with digital, organisational and management-related content. It was important to me to better understand developments in the field of Digital Health and to be able to help shape them actively. This decision had a positive impact on my career development, as it gave me new perspectives and allowed me to develop further towards digitalisation, administration and project work in healthcare.
