Funding opportunities
You are an international degree-seeking student who is studying at the HNU? If so, you have various options for financial support during your studies. The funding options are usually linked to good or very good academic performance and often also to financial need. They are usually partial scholarships and not full funding.

Please note: We do not offer scholarships for students in their first two semesters. In this case, we recommend consulting the DAAD scholarship database. Please obtain information and apply early!
Scholarship “Hochschule International”
Scholarship for international Bachelor's students in financial need with ideally good academic performance, from the 3rd semester onwards

Scholarship for Bachelor's and Master's students in need who are in their final semester and writing their thesis
DAAD Prize
Award for outstanding international students with excellent academic achievements and social commitment, granted to one person per year

Some of these scholarships are also open to international students – ideally, you should plan to stay in Germany after completing your studies and already have a basic knowledge of the German language.

Under certain conditions, it is possible to apply for state educational funding. You can submit your application directly to the Augsburg Student Services Association (Studierendenwerk Augsburg, page only in German).
