What tips can you give young people who are looking for the right degree programme?
Listen to yourself and explore what you are genuinely interested in. But also give yourself the chance to correct a choice. The first decision for a degree programme is not always automatically the right one. But if you pull the "emergency brake" in time, you will then go into the "right" degree programme strengthened and further developed in your own personality.

What experiences during your studies have had a particular impact on you?
What was formative was that probably every course of study also contains elements that do not fit the particular interests and strengths of the individual. Then it can be quite challenging and you are faced with situations that are less easy than in your previous school days. I felt the same way. What helps: clear your head, concentrate on the goal and take the monumental out of it.

What is your advice to all graduates who are looking for their first job?
Focus on the content of the job, i.e. especially the tasks and development opportunities. Although you should not let yourself be fleeced, the salary should not be your first priority when starting your career. If you do a good job, the salary will increase all by itself.

Please describe your everyday working life. Which projects do you work on and which tasks do you particularly appreciate?
What I particularly appreciate about my daily work is the diversity of the HR profession and the countless people you work with and come into contact with, from whom you learn an incredible amount – both on a personal and professional level. At MAYSER, we have an incredible diversity of people on board, each bringing their own perspectives and life experiences to the table. This opens up the opportunity to explore new horizons.
Like the business world in general, MAYSER is also undergoing constant change. Continuous digitalisation, modern human resources management and the ongoing development of a mindset that is even more focused on growth – both on a personal and corporate level – shape our everyday lives.
