17.07.2025, Study:

From practice to lectures: On 27 June 2025, HNU President Prof. Dr Uta M. Feser and Uwe Heim, Senior Managing Director, and Wolfram von Koeller, Managing Director, signed a cooperation agreement with the management consultancy Teneo. In this agreement, both partners agree to co-operate in teaching, further education, research and transfer. Joint practical projects, teaching assignments and guest lectures are planned for the new Business Criminology (BA) degree programme at HNU. The fully subscribed degree programme will start in the winter semester 2025/2026.

Teneo is a global management consultancy with over 1,600 employees at 40 locations. With this cooperation, HNU aims to provide students with practical insights into the prevention and detection of white-collar crime. Uwe Heim, Head of Risk Forensic & Compliance at Teneo, has been working as a forensic expert for over 20 years and is a former investigator at the German Federal Criminal Police Office (BKA). He is also head of the Competence Centre for White-Collar Crime at the Allianz für Sicherheit in der Wirtschaft e.V (ASW e.V).

As part of the collaboration, experts from Teneo will be active as guest lecturers and lecturers on the degree programme. In addition, joint projects are planned that closely interlink theory and practice and promote the transfer of knowledge between the university, society and business.
