The self-organized student team developed the teaching materials, conducted the weekly workshops, and provided ongoing support to the participants. Ana Micanovic was responsible for organizational management, while Vladislav Hirschfeld was responsible for technical management. Lukas Herrmann, Julia Hosch, Patrick Huber, and Konrad Wöhner supported the students as tutors.
Final presentation of the student projects
On the final day, the students presented their projects. Guests included Prof. Dr. Dany Meyer, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Information Management at HNU, Claus Kern, teacher at Pfuhl Secondary School, and parents.
Open learning atmosphere
In the final feedback round, the participants emphasized that they felt free to ask questions at any time in the working group – something they often don't dare to do in regular school lessons. “The positive response shows how important it is to get students excited about computer science at an early age. The open learning atmosphere and the organization by our students show how vivid and motivating learning can be. We want to continue to expand this format,” reports Prof. Dr. Erica Weilemann, HNU professor of computer science with a focus on didactics.
