Orientation Week – Winter Semester 2026/27

Welcome to HNU!

Your studies begin with the legendary “O-Phase” (Orientation Phase, also called O-Week). On this page, you’ll find everything you need for a successful start to your studies.

We’ll guide you along the way: During O-Phase, you’ll be introduced step by step to campus life and your study program. Various HNU initiatives organize activities and events in the week before lectures officially begin, giving you the chance to get to know HNU, campus life, and your fellow students.

One highlight is the Business Simulation Game, where you work together in teams to solve a business-related challenge – the perfect way to kick off your studies. The HNU study ambassadors will also show you around campus and our labs, and they organize program-specific events. In addition, the student representation offers several activities during the week.

A full overview of the week’s program can be found below from the end of July 2026.

When?
28.09. - 02.10.2026

Note: All information about the Orientation Week for the winter semester 2026/27 will be published on this page from the end of July 2026.
