German language courses

Would you like to improve your language skills? Some basic knowledge of German will help you a lot in your everyday life. Therefore, we are happy to be able to offer German courses to all exchange and degree-seeking students free of charge. The language centre at the HNU offers German courses of different levels (usually A1 , A2 and B1 ) especially designed for our students at the HNU.

Details and conditions of participation

The HNU Language Centre offers German courses at various levels each semester, designed specifically for students who wish to study German as a foreign language. The HNU offers language levels ranging from A1.1 to B1.1, comprising four hours of classes per week and five ECTS. Students are required to attend at least 80% of the classes.

In addition, it is useful to regularly practice one's German language skills outside of class for example at a Tandem event (opens in a new window) at the adult education center (opens in a new window) (VHS).
