The first day began with the official camp presentation, followed by exciting Valorant tournaments and games developed by students from the Game Production and Management program and played live by professors Harald Gerlach and Stefan Faußer. The evening was rounded off with Gerlach's humorous bedtime stories.
The second day continued with a cooking stream, action-packed Mario Kart races with pizza prizes, and an intense CS:GO tournament. Tournaments organized by Uniliga provided additional excitement. All activities were also streamed live on Twitch.
The camp not only offered students gaming fun, but also the opportunity to develop new skills. They tried their hand at areas such as casting and moderation, streaming technology, community management, and social media content creation, gaining valuable experience. The aim of the “1337 Camp” is to bring together students from different semesters and degree programs who share a common passion—gaming. The strong community is at the heart of HNU eSports.
