Sustainability

The transformation of our society towards sustainability is an important concern for HNU, which we address in a committed and responsible manner. We take a holistic approach to this, as ecological limits, economic durability and social justice are inextricably linked.

Our goals are ambitious and we take into account the complex nature of sustainability with its multiple interactions. In doing so, we put people at the centre: sustainability is lived through responsibility - both through the daily actions of our students, teachers, researchers and all employees.

Sustainable added value

A healthy understanding of sustainability promotes a more (responsibly) conscious approach to our resources and the environment by enabling us to understand and minimise the impact of our actions on the environment.

HNU's understanding of sustainability

In November 2022, HNU adopted an understanding of sustainability. This serves the sustainable orientation and daily design of the work at HNU.
