Vision

Mission

Our mission is to enable positive change in the economy and society through scientific research and practical insights. We research innovative sales and business models, support twin transformation and promote sustainable consumer behaviour. In doing so, we rely on close cooperation with partners from science and practice to ensure the transfer of knowledge and the implementation of new findings.

 

Our strategies for successful collaboration

1. 1Continuous development of research content

   As an open and research-oriented institute, we welcome the exchange of ideas and collaboration with other research-oriented scientists in Germany and abroad in order to jointly develop solutions and insights for these and related topics.

2. 2Collaborative cooperation

   Our collaborative approach is reflected in our joint applications for and implementation of transformative research projects, as well as in close cooperation with renowned partner universities and industry partners both in Germany and abroad. Through joint scientific publications, active participation in international conferences, and our work as reviewers and editors, we make a valuable contribution to the scientific community by sharing our knowledge and promoting exchange with other scientists.

3. 3Promotion of young scientists

   We actively promote doctoral projects and support the career paths of aspiring scientists on their way to becoming professors. To this end, we grant them access to our scientific networks and research opportunities and accompany them on their journey to developing their academic careers. In this way, we create optimal conditions for young talent and contribute to strengthening the next generation of scientists.

4. 4Early involvement of students in the research process

   We strive to integrate our students into research activities at an early stage by actively involving them in research and teaching. In this way, we encourage them to gain scientific experience and develop their skills in these areas.

   We cultivate an open and participatory research culture that values and promotes diversity. At the same time, we are committed to family-friendly working conditions to enable our scientists to successfully balance their professional and family lives.

   Our research is focused on jointly addressing pressing issues of our time and developing new solutions that have a positive impact on society and the economy. In this context, we strive to develop scientific findings and practical applications in a bidirectional exchange with our practice partners in co-creation. In this way, we contribute to the continuous development of our knowledge and help solve real-world problems.
